To salt chicken breasts, salt the meat with fleur de sel. Place the meat in a shallow pan and then pour the olive oil into the pan. When the chicken is done, you can remove it from the pan and put it on a platter. Allow the chicken to sit for a few minutes before serving.
Mixing garlic and onions in a blender or food processor will create a delectable sauce. Add a tablespoon of fleur de sel to the mixture. Use the remainder of the garlic and onion mixture as a marinade or to add flavor to the meat.
Use an old-fashioned garlic salt to cook meats in place of regular salt. This salt holds up well in your refrigerator and will not turn brown when exposed to oxygen.
Pasta made with a roux will be less robust when cooked with other ingredients. A little fleur de sel can lend a little extra flavor. Whisk together a bit of flour and some salt, brown it in a small pan over medium heat and then stir in a cup of the roux. The fleur de sel will give it that unique, moist flavor.
